Having never attended a state event before, I thought Margaret Thatcher's funeral would be a good place to start, but I was not prepared for what the morning brought.

I decided to go straight to St. Paul's to get a good position to see the guests and coffin arrive.
There were already thousands of people surrounding St. Paul's and many guests queuing to get in.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a great view with no step ladder or step to give me the extra height, so decided to document the atmosphere and whatever was around me to tell the story.
